Overview

Made from locally sourced sawmill residues
Unlike most briquettes, these new wood briquettes use no added resins in the manufacturing process. They are an excellent choice for anyone who cares about sustainability.
As these briquettes are shorter, we find they fit more stoves without needing to be broken. They expand as they burn, but much less than other logs or briquettes we have tried. This is due to the raw material used in production and also to the way the briquettes are compacted.
We achieved a burn time of about 1.5 to 2 hours when using them on an established fire.
They can then glow for another hour, giving a total of about 3 hours. As always, burn and glow times may vary depending on the stove they are used in and how the stove is operated. This burn time is an average obtained over several weeks of testing on different stoves.
